Members Present:  Cyndra Whiddon, Diana Scott, Ingrid Gill, Joey Laurie, Joy Robertson, Suzanne Laycock, Kelly Claassen, Diana Campbell, Teresa Young, Russell Miller, Lori, Justin, and Jack Guthridge.

The meeting was called to order.

Minutes from the April 8, 2008 meeting were reviewed and approved.

The Treasurer’s Report was presented. It was noted that the $5000 grant for the Outdoor Classroom has not been used yet. Start of the projector mount installations will wait until Fall. Need to show correct Boxtops totals. Actual profit was over $1000.

Beagle Bash:  Made about the same as last year. There were more expenses and more prizes were bought this year. We had to pay for two bouncers even though we couldn’t use them due to high wind. It was requested that the names and totals of auction basket and teacher date winners be published. Need to add minimum bid and set bid increments for auction items next year. Need to post the closing time for auction bids next year. It was suggested that we have a basket of fish supplies for a drawing for all kids who win a fish in the Gotta-Get-a-Guppy game.

School Supplies:  May 16 is the deadline to order school supply packets for next year.

Teacher Appreciation:  Need volunteers to help set up before and clean-up after the Teacher Appreciation meal.
