Based on analysis of the 2006 State Reading Assessment, our goal is that 94.9% of all students will be at the proficient level or above. Writing: All students will demonstrate growth in writing skills across the curriculum based on the Building and District Common Assessments. Ninety-four percent of all 5th grade students will score at or above the proficient level on the 2007 State Writing Assessment; additionally, the achievement gap will decrease to less than 15% for all subgroups.
