Magnet Theme
Hyde Leadership & International Explorations Magnet Elementary School strives to create well rounded leaders who have a knowledgeable background of the world. As a “Leader in Me” school, we focus on teaching students the seven habits of great leaders. Our building focuses on creating rigorous academic setting where students learn through the incorporation of the leadership and international studies theme.
Through Hyde’s Leader in Me curriculum, students focus on the seven habits: being proactive, beginning with the end in mind, putting first things first, thinking win-win, seeking first to understand, then to be understood, synergizing and sharpening the saw. Students will be exposed to other cultures and ways of life through the use of focused instruction and collaborative projects that are specifically related to geographic
locations in our society and around the world.
